Geoff Stalkers Private View night received great acclaim from his invited guests for a brilliant display of his works from the previous 25 years.
100 people browsed the Creative Hinckley Gallery at over 40 paintings of Ditches, Rugby stars, Nudes and landscapes that made up this Retrospective show. The differing styles of applying paint to his sitters canvasses is truly remarkable from the heavy daubs that made up his portraits of Wade Dooley and Gary Pearce to the intricate photo realistic acrylic marks of ‘She’s got everything she needs’ a nude girl in water.
