This week I've been dragging out some incomplete images I put to one side and have been kicking them into shape.
The idea behind this one is that in the future, when health and safety issues result in the banning of contact sports, robots are created to replace humans in the sporting arena.
These robots are programmed to be brutally competitive and ruthless in their aims. Everything was going well, until one day, one of them found a gun...
The little girl befriends the gun-toting mech and takes it to meet her friends. I'm sure there's a story there that isn't on too much of a parallel with Frankenstein.
Anyway, this was produced by inking the linework traditionally and adding colour digitally.
