The Showcase Event on 21st Jan proved to be another enjoyable, entertaining and educational occasion. In addition to the three artists, Peter Welton, Maggie Brooks and Neil Coultas, giving an outline of their working practices and influences, Jayne Childs gave an enlightening talk on the benefits of social networking and using it to reach your customers. As usual, The Factory provided an excellent environment for the meeting, even providing a warming winter punch for every visitor.
It's great to get a group of creative people together. It seems that whatever the discipline, the common bond of creativity provides the thing that everyone has in common. And once we get chatting, there's no stopping us.
