A Bad Taste Bear gathering in Vienna

Posted Friday, 04 December, 2009 by Pete Underhill

To mark the fifth anniversary of them opening their store and cafe, AB (Alf and Bine) invited me to come and celebrate with them and some of their friends.

While it was intended to be an informal gathering, I still signed a few Bad Taste Bear pieces - well, it'd be rude not to.

Me, Alf, in his party gear, and Christian, one of my Viennese chums.

Some more colourful guests at the celebration.

This is the fourth time I've accepted their hospitality, each time I try and fit in a trip to one of the many galleries.

This time I tried to get to the Albertina but took one look at the queue and scarpered over to the Leopold where Munch, Klimt and Schiele were on show in a big Expressionist exhibition.

I find the architecture fascinating.

Vienna is a gorgeous city and if I had the time, I'd like to do a little sketching of my own.
