Creative Hinckley recognises, however, that it cannot be all things to all people and that to pursue such a broad agenda without a more tightly defined focus means that it may not succeed in its long-term ambitions. Therefore, there are some priority objectives:

  • To gather cross sectored support and membership from the majority of creative industries across the borough of Hinckley and Bosworth and beyond
  • To effectively represent the views of this community to the Borough Council in relation to the Goddard Building development and the Local Development Framework
  • To secure for itself (Creative Hinckley) a role in managing or letting creative workspace and providing support for creative businesses that are in or will relocate to the borough
  • To provide an effective suite of facilities and services to support the growth and development of creative businesses resident in, or related to, the Goddard Building
