Although I’ve been doing a bit of work during the last 3 months most of my time has been organising Creative Hinckley stuff, the building is beginning to move on fast and questions are raised by the hour regarding its fit out.
I did find time to visit Focus though at The NEC. This is the annual photography show with all the new gear that no one can afford. But saying that it does seem to be getting cheaper and more for your cash.
I’m certainly glad I don’t have to keep up with today’s techno to earn a living. By the way the bit of kit in my hand on the TFC stand with my mate Kev is only £13,000!

December was a busy time for Glen Bank with 3 major shoots interfering with the Christmas festivities.
John built and shot many room sets in his time starting back in the 1980's with Woburn Studios in London, where he built sets for Times Furnishings, Amtico and others.
Presently as well as fabric and wallpaper companies these shots show a simple set and shots for Espo for their soft furnishings catalogue.
In-between fabric shots and meetings with HBBC negotiating rental charges, John also had to shoot a load of balls!

John Brightmore was recently commissioned by Spira Designs to provide display images for the refurbishment of the members bar at Hinckley Golf Club. John provided several images from his extensive library of floral images together with panoramic shots of the golf course at Hinckley.
Here we see John shooting the newly refurbished bar area for the golf club marketing material.
